VCDS Mobile / HEX-NET availability update We've received a number of enquiries about Ross-Tech's new wireless HEX-NET interface and the VCDS-Mobile software. The HEX-NET / VCDS-Mobile packages have currently been released on a limited beta program by Ross-Tech to users in the USA only. The beta program is still uncovering issues that need resolving before Ross-Tech are happy to offer a world-wide release. As yet it has not been released outside of the USA, so we can't offer pricing or availability information until Ross-Tech are ready for a world-wide release. As and when the product is released world-wide, we will publish pricing information and get stock in from Ross-Tech. |

These are the successor the popular MaxiDAS DS708 diagnostic system, and offer the same coverage and more, in a sleeker, faster, more powerful package. Now based around the Android operating system, the new tools are 50% more powerful and start up twice as fast as the MaxiDAS. We have 2 MaxiSys products in stock at the moment: - The MaxiSys MS908 is based on a 9.7 inch capacitive touch-screen tablet, and comes with a range of adaptor cables for pre-EOBD vehicles. - The MaxiSys Mini MS905 is just as quick as it's bigger brother, but is downsized to a 7.9 inch tablet and doesn't come with the adaptors - ideal to take on the road, and for garages who don't deal with cars over 10 years old. |

MultiECUScan Purple Adaptor (Adapter 4) now in stock! The recently released version 1.5 of the excellent MultiECUScan package (for Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Lancia vehicles) now includes support for some electric hood modules, using a pin in the diagnostic socket not previously supported by the package. Working closely with MultiECUScan, Gendan have now created a Purple Adaptor 4 cable, which offers coverage for these systems, and will also support the pins required for some extra systems that may be supported in the future. We have added the Purple adaptors to our MultiECUScan packages at no extra cost for new customers. Existing users can pick up the Purple adaptor here. |

PayPal order limit increased to £1400 In April of this year we started accepting PayPal payments via the website for orders up to £500. We started this as a trial to see whether customers wanted to pay by PayPal and to ensure we could offer the option securely, as PayPal payments allow many customers to have orders delivered to alternate addresses, if the address has been confirmed from a previous purchase. The trial has been such a success that we have now increased the order value allowed for PayPal payment up to £1400! To pay by PayPal, simply select the option before you press the Checkout button on the basket. Our only requirements are that your PayPal account is registered in the UK, and you select an address that is "confirmed" on your account. |

If the trial proves successful, we may extend it, and may increase the order limit. This is the new all-in-one interface, multi-PC version of the excellent FiatECUScan package for Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Lancia cars. This interface combines the coverage of the ELM327 and VAG KKL interfaces into a single unit, so no more swapping cables. It's also a mulitplexing interface, so can automatically select the right pin on the port - no more need for adaptor cables either! The interface operates on USB or Bluetooth, and contains an internal flash drive with all the software and drivers ready to go - plus the Mulitplexed license allows you to install the package on as many PCs as you like. VAT Charged at 15% from December 1st In line with the reduction in the rate of VAT from 17.5% to 15%, from December 1st 2008 all VAT-eligible products will be charged at the new 15% rate. Any orders placed after 5pm on Friday November 28th will be invoiced on Monday, and so will benefit from the lower rates.
