Please note that whilst the lead for this Carsoft package is an RS232 Serial Port connection, we stock both PCMCIA and ExpressPCI RS232 Serial port cards so it can be used on almost any laptop PC not fitted with an RS232 Serial port. These cards can be included with the package for a small additional cost and are offered as options if you add this product to your basket.
This Carsoft package will not work with a USB-Serial adaptor.
Carsoft offers Basic Setting and Adaptation of the following systems (dependent on model):
- Shift adaptation on Automatic Transmission (1996 onwards)
- Diesel engine sensor adaptation (1996 onwards)
- EWS alignment (1996 onwards)
- Petrol mixture and fuel trim adaptation (1996 onwards)
It also offers module version coding (dependent on model):
- Central Body Electrics (ZKE): Automatic locking/Selective locking
- Driver information Display (BC/MID, IC, CID): Language & Measurement Units
- i-Drive setup
- Heating, Climate control & Aircon: Units for Temperature display
Service Interval (dependent on model):
- CarSoft offers Programming and Reset of Service Interval Management Systems
