The ScanGauge II from Linear Logic is a 3-in-1 car computer - digital gauges, an 11-parameter trip computer and an EOBD scan tool all in a single unit.
At only 4.8" x 1.5" x 1.0" (12.2 x 3.8 x 2.5cm) in size, it's small enough to fit easily in any car!
What cars will it work with?
ScanGauge II will work with any EOBD compliant car - any petrol car since 2001*, and any diesel since 2004*
The tool simply plugs into the car's EOBD port (1.8m cable included in the pack).
(* Passenger cars sold from new within an EU member country, with fewer than 10 seats and a Gross Vehicle Weight rating of less than 2500kg)
What does it do?
- Digital Gauges
The ScanGauge II can display up to 4 of 12 possible gauges at one time. The units of measurement can be changed and the rate of update can be increased or decreased.

- Fuel Economy
- Fuel Rate
- Battery Voltage
- Coolant Temperature
- Intake Air Temperature
- Engine Speed (RPM)
- Vehicle speed (MPH and KM/H)
- Manifold Pressure (not available on some vehicles)
- Engine Load
- Throttle Position
- Ignition Timing
- Open/Closed Loop
(The gauges are based on live data parameters read from the car's engine ECU, which are subject to vehicle support - some vehicles produced soon after the introduction of EOBD [2001 petrol, 2004 diesel] may not offer all parameters, so some options may be unavailable)
- Trip Computers
The ScanGauge II automatically tracks and stores data for 4 Trips - Today, Yesterday, Tank (since the car was filled with fuel) and Current, which can be reset manually.
They offer information such as:

- Maximum Coolant Temperature
- Maximum RPM
- Driving Time
- Driving Distance
- Fuel Used
- Trip Fuel Economy

The ScanGauge II also features an EOBD scan tool, allowing you to read and clear fault codes from the engine management system:
- Reads Trouble Codes
- Reads conditions that set the Trouble Code (Freeze-Frame data)
- Clears Trouble Codes
- Turns off "Check Engine" light
- Displays Readiness Test Status
