The Foxwell NT530 is the successor to the hugely popular NT520 Pro and NT510 Pro, but is based upon a new platform for faster performance and easier updates. It is a low-cost handheld scan tool that offers comprehensive coverage for a single car manufacturer - ideal for specialist garages and car enthusiasts.

The updated NT530 PLUS version that we are now supplying also features Wi-Fi connection onboard, so you can install the latest software updates without needing a PC!

Designed for Renault and Dacia cars from around 1998 onwards (models with a 16-pin OBD-II type diagnostic socket), this scan tool allows the user to read and clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes of all electronically controlled systems, and to reset oil and service lights, plus many more advanced features such as bi-directional component actuations and module coding - usually only seen in high-end professional tools such as the GT90.

This scan tool will also read and erase engine fault codes and show live engine data on EOBD compliant cars (nearly all 2001+ petrol cars and 2004+ diesel cars, from any car manufacturer).

Software updates

NT530 Plus scan tools come with free 'lifetime' software updates!

What does that mean?
All the time the tool is manufactured or supported, updates will be free.
No tool will remain in production forever, but Foxwell have committed to providing free new model, feature & security updates for a period of at least 12 months from the date of purchase.

To apply software updates to the tool you will need a Smartphone / tablet capable of reading a QR code and a Wi-Fi internet connection.
To register the tool you will also need access to your email account.

If we have sufficient time between your order being placed and being shipped, we will usually install the latest available updates for you on the day the order is shipped.

Hiya, bought the NT530+ for Renault Master Mk3 and it worked straight out of the box. On finishing the 1st diagnostic test the the pesky Renault OBD socket wouldnt let go of the plug no matter how hard I tried the OBD socket is in a very awkward place inside dash panel beside cab fuse panel! Locking barb on OBD socket engaged too well! Got it free eventually by breaking locking loop on plug with small screwdriver - tricky manouevre, then trimmed the plastic around it to make it less jaggy! Dont need to lock the plug on anyway as it is a good firm fit! Watch out for this minor but time consuming nightmare issue! Hey ho, the scanner works really well and has good screen and menus etc. Much better than an older Autel I had for my previous VW T5. Why are vehicles so much more complex nowadays with all the Canbus electronics and emissions techno sh!te! Didnt need Gendans advice on the purchase as I knew what I needed but thoroughly recommend them as suppliers with quick delivery, good products and nice retro friendly non-glossy website and free Haribos hidden in product pouch - ta! Whats not to like here?! Quick delivery, and excellent service and price! Regards.
