iPhone/iPad-based fault diagnostics for Fiat & Alfa Romeo cars
The MultiECUScan MS package features the new vLinker MS Bluetooth interface from Vgate.
The vLinker MS has been specially developed for use with the MultiECUScan iOS (iPhone / iPad) app.
This package includes a 2-year license for the iOS multiecuscan app - worth £120!
The MS interface features:
- Improved handling of large data loads for reliable Proxi Alignment via Bluetooth
- Multiplexing to slow-CAN, fast-CAN and MS-CAN buses - no more fiddling with coloured adaptor cables!
- iOS support - Yes, you can use this with your iPhone / iPad!
The package supports fault code reading (and clearing) and live sensor data from controllers such as
Engine, Automatic Transmission, Airbag, ABS and Electric Power Steering.
This CAN-only package covers the vehicles from Fiat and Alfa Romeo where ALL systems on the car have
moved to the CAN
protocols, including:

** Important - 2018+ model year coverage: **
Please note - some vehicles from the 2018 model year onwards (sold since mid-2017) , will have a
" Security GateWay" Module ( SGW).
The SGW module limits diagnostic communication to read-only access, unless the tool can obtain a session-specific
access code from Fiat group's servers (which requires an expensive subscription).
This limitation blocks tools from executing commands on the vehicle (e.g. actuations, procedures
and even clearing of DTCs).
However, the current generation of SGW can be bypassed, by unplugging the SGW from the car, and connecting an
SGW Bypass Adaptor (available separately) in its place.
Vehicles known to be affected so far include MY2018 500X/Renegade, 500L MCA, Doblo, Giulia/Stelvio.

This package will support any control module listed as working with "ELM", "ELM A3", "ELM A5" or "ELM A6".

What do I need to use the package?

An iOS device (iPhone, iPad) on a recent version of iOS.
M1/M2 based Macbooks are also compatible - the software can be installed from the App Store.
If you add the OPTIONAL 12-month Windows version license at checkout, the requirements for that version are:

A laptop or PC running Windows 10 or Windows 11 with a USB port
(Windows 7 or 8.1 may still work, but are no longer supported by Microsoft and so we cannot offer support on them if we suspect the O/S to be the cause of any problems)

Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 SP1 or newer. (Free to download from www.microsoft.com if not already installed).
For Windows 8.1, 10 & 11, Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 or higher is required. This may not be installed by default.
To install, go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Turn Windows features on or off, and install .NET Framework 3.5.
- 1.5GHz CPU or higher
- 2GB RAM (4GB or higher recommended)
What about updates?
The iOS app license will activate automatically the first time you use it.
It is a 2-year license, so will work and automatically download updates from the App Store for 2 years from
the date of activation.
After 2 years, the iOS license will expire. A further 12-month license (available through the App Store) is
currently £59.99 GBP.
Return of product
In the unlikely event that you decide to return the product, we will of course provide a refund, but we
regret that we cannot refund the value of the 2-year software license (£119.98) if the license has been
activated.
