The Foxwell F1000 AC/DC Current Clamp Meter is a device that can measure the current passing though a wire without needing the breach the insulation.

You simply put a wire between the jaws of the tool, and the clamp will inductively measure the electrical current passing through the wire.

The clamp can measure between 0 and 1000 Amps AC or DC to a resolution of 0.1 Amp.
