This is a 19-pin round adaptor cable to allow earlier model Porsche cars to be used with compatible diagnostic tools with a 16-pin connector.

This adaptor is designed for use with the Durametric Enthusiast and PoCOM Porsche-specific diagnostic packages.
On both packages this allows connection to some models back to around 1989. Please see the product listings for more specific vehicle coverage details.

Please note this adaptor will not allow communication with a standard OBD-II / EOBD scan tool. The tool must be specifically designed to communicate with pre-2001 Porsche models, or it will not support the car's software protocols.
