Product details
This is a direct-fit 4-wire Planar oxygen sensor. Compatible with some Ford Ka and Fiesta models (see compatible vehicles page). This sensor has the correct electrical connector fitted for use with compatible vehicles (no soldering required).

Important note: Ford have published a Technical Service Bulletin - TSB 67/2006 - regarding a fault on many vehicles which use this sensor.
A problem with the software on the engine ECU causes the heater circuit on the sensor to over-heat, which may cause the sensor to fail prematurely, often with one or more of the following fault codes: P0030, P0031, P0032, P0053, P0130, P0131, P0132, P0133, P0134.
The fault affects:
- Ford Ka 1.3 8v Duratec, built between 14/10/2002 and 21/12/2006
- Ford Ka 1.6 8v Duratec, built between 14/10/2002 and 21/12/2006
- Ford StreetKa 1.6 8v Duratec, built between 01/2003 and 07/2005
- Ford Fiesta 1.3 8v Duratec, built between 30/11/2001 and 07/12/2006
If your car is one of those listed above, please contact Ford to ensure that the fix for TSB 67/2006 has been applied to the car - this involves updating the ECU software with a new version that recalibrates the sensor heater.
If sensors purchased from us are used on the above cars, we can only honour the warranty if you can supply proof that the car has had the TSB 67/2006 fix applied before fitting.
