Designed for checking the correct lambda switching operation on most fuel injection management systems.

Tool operation:
1. Once the lambda sensor has been located and accessed, connect the red clip to the output wire, ensuring that the point in the clip pierces the wire fully (if more that 1 wire runs from the sensor, check the service manual to correctly identify the output/signal wire).
2. Connect the black clip to a good earth point on the vehicle.
3. Start the engine and run for 5 minutes to ensure the correct operating temperature is reached. Switch on the tester and observe the signal LED.
- LED flashes intermittently = Oxygen sensor is working correctly
- LED flashes in quick succession = Oxygen sensor is working correctly
- LED illuminates constantly = Oxygen sensor is working correctly but mixture is too rich
- LED fails to illuminate = Oxygen sensor requires replacing
